Obituary of Paul D. Jackson
Paul D. Jackson, 59, of Peabody, died Tuesday morning at the Brudnick Center for Living in Peabody following a brief illness. Born in Salem, he was the son of the late Raymond and Ernestine (Bourgeois) Jackson of Peabody. He was a lifelong resident of Peabody and a graduate of Peabody Veteran’s Memorial High School. Paul was employed for over 38 years as a machinist for General Electric in Lynn. In his younger days he enjoyed bowling and playing hockey. He played hockey for four years in high school, his freshman was at St. John’s Prep and then he played three years for Peabody High School. He always enjoyed watching all of Boston’s professional sports teams. His favorite endeavor though, was spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed. Besides his loving mother, he is survived by his two brothers, Richard and his wife Elaine Jackson of Danvers, Edward and his wife Jean Jackson of Peabody, his sister, Nancy and her husband Charlie Floyd of Peabody, and is also survived by his beloved nieces and nephews, Chuck, Patrick, Nicole, Brad, Kevin, Ross, and Sarah and by 10 great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Raymond Jackson. His funeral will be celebrated on Monday at 9:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St, Peabody, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Ann’s Church, Lynn St, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 3:00 until 6:00 PM. Burial services will be private.
