Obituary of Anastasia Inglis

Anastasia Inglis, age 90 of Peabody died peacefully at home surrounded by her family, on Thursday August 23. Born in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Stamata Salaris and the loving wife of the late Charles Edward Inglis. During high school and for several years thereafter, she worked at W.T Grant Co. in Peabody as an office manager and book-keeper until she left to raise her 6 children. Stacia loved being around her family - her home was always open and full of extended family & friends. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, friend to all. Stacia is survived by her loving children Estelle Tillas of CT, Fran Ridge and her husband Larry of Beverly, Charles Inglis of CA, James Inglis of TX, Dennis Inglis of Peabody, 9 grandchildren Jason Tillas, Stacey Dostie and her husband Dave, Eric Ridge and his wife Kim, Amy Ridge, Adam Ridge, Bryan and his wife Gwen, Corey Inglis, Catherine Inglis, Kaylee Inglis, 7 great-grandchildren and many beloved god-children, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. She was predeceased by her husband Charles Edward, her son Alan John, her brothers, John, Frank, and Constantine Salaris and by her niece Diane Babineau. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St, Peabody, followed by her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at St. Vasilios Church to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Children’s Hospital in Boston, Dana Farber Jimmy Fund or St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church in Peabody.
