Obituary of Michael D. Savary
Michael D. Savary, 51 PEABODY – Michael D. Savary, 51, died peacefully on Thursday August 23, 2018 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, while in the comforting presence of his family, following an extended illness. Born in Peabody, he was the son of Walburga (Zickel) Savary Campbell of Salem and the his late step-father Donald Campbell. He grew up in Peabody, and graduated from Peabody High School, Class of 1984. He earned a degree in business from Salem State College. Michael had a special gift of connecting with people, and those traits served him well in his Sales Profession. He was affiliated with several companies in the Electronics Industry, most recently working with Arrow Electronics of Peabody. Michael enjoyed sports, and was a passionate fan of the New England Patriots, the Boston Red Sox, and loved golfing. He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He is survived by his mother Walburga Campbell of Salem; a brother and two sisters, Ralph Savary and his wife Terry of Raleigh, NC, Kathleen Savary of Beverly, and Christina Bussey and her husband Roger of Alabama; a longtime friend and mentor like a brother, Peter Waystack of Newburyport, and four nephews. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather for his Funeral Service on Tuesday August 28, 2018 at 11 AM in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. A visitation will be held on Monday from 4 – 8 P.M. in the funeral home. Cremation will follow the ceremony. Memorial donations may be made to either the Big Brother/Big Sister Foundation, 75 Federal St, Boston, MA 02110, or Kaplan Family Hospice House c/o Care Dimensions, 75 Sylvan St., Suite B-102, Danvers, MA 01923.
