Obituary of Ann C. (Forgione) Maher

Ann C. (Forgione) Maher, 84 PEABODY – Ann C. (Forgione) Maher, 84, died unexpectedly on Wednesday September 5, 2018 at the Lahey Medical Center Hospital in Burlington. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Antoinette (Pastore) Forgione. She grew up in East Boston and graduated from East Boston High School. Mrs. Maher worked as a Sales Clerk at Jordan Marsh in Boston, yet mostly enjoyed her time at home with family and friends. She loved going to the beach often, a favorite place was Winter Island in Salem. Ann also kept an exercise routine of walking daily. She was passionately devoted to her family and children. She is survived by two sons, Roy Maher, Jr. and his wife Denise; and Robert Maher both of Plymouth; a sister Mary Forgione of Peabody, a brother Anthony Forgione of Lynn, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and a niece Nancy Sposito of Wakefield. She was preceded in death by a daughter Catherine Maher. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather on Saturday September 8, 2018 for a Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM in St. Adelaide’s Church, Lowell St., Peabody followed by burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
