Obituary of Brian David Furtado

Brian David Furtado, 39, of Peabody died on Tuesday, September 4, 2016 at the Leominster Hospital after taking an ill turn at MCI Correctional facility in Sharon. He was born in Cambridge, MA on October 11, 1978, the son of Maria Ventura Gomes and the late Manuel J. Furtado and moved to Peabody when he was eight years old. Brian had been a detailer in the auto industry and also had a love of rap music. He was a very kind, loving and funny guy who would do anything to make you happy. He also liked taking walks. He is survived by his mother, Maria Gomes of St. Michael, Azores, Portugal, a daughter, Naomi Furtado, and his twin sons, Gabriel and Matthew Furtado, a sister and brother-in-law, Stephanie and Joao Medeiros of Peabody, a brother, Joe Furtado and his partner Kathy Page of Malden, a nephew, Eric Medeiros and many aunts, uncles and cousins. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility.
