Obituary of Dorothy (Martin) Bermani

Dorothy (Martin) Bermani, 85 PEABODY – Dorothy (Martin) Bermani, 85, beloved wife of the late Egidio Bermani, died peacefully at the Rosewood Nursing Home on Sunday September 9, 2018, following an extended illness. Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Gladys (Northrop) Martin. She grew up in Lynn and lived in Peabody for many years. Dorothy worked at Heritage Industries in Peabody for many years. She was a lifelong advocate for Special Needs children, and was an Activist to help create programs and transportation to meet the needs of Special Needs children into adult-hood. She was passionately devoted to family, and enjoyed attending Bingo at Rosewood. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Eugene Bermani and Krisann Yeo-Bermani of Peabody; a special needs daughter Joan B. Bermani of Peabody; a granddaughter Katlyn Bermani and her life companion Nelson Da Silva of Peabody; a great-grandson Kyle Da Silva of Peabody, and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather for her Funeral Service on Wednesday September 12, 2018 at 9:30 AM in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4 – 7 P.M. in the funeral home. Burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Lynn.
