Obituary of Olga (Krechmarowsky) Allain

Olga (Krechmarowsky) Allain, 91 PEABODY – Olga (Krechmarowsky) Allain, 91, beloved wife of the late Oscar Allain, died peacefully on Friday October 19, 2018 at the Sunrise at Gardner Park in Peabody, following a brief illness, while in the comforting presence of her family. Born in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late Tichon and Elizabeth Krechmarowsky, she was a lifelong resident of the city. She graduated from Peabody High School, Class of 1944. Mrs. Allain was an Operator with New England Telephone for over 20 years of service. Olga was a member of the Telephone Pioneers, enjoyed time with friends as part of the Snowbirds from Salem going to Hollywood, Florida for over 20 years. She was passionate about her role as nurturer and caregiver for her family, and lovingly remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She is survived by two sons, Mark Allain and Dennis Allain both of Peabody; four grandchildren, Christopher, Danielle & her husband Jim, Stephanie, and Richard; a great-grandson Liam, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death, besides her parents and husband, by a twin sister Nellie Murphy. Family and friends may gather for a visitation on Monday from 5 – 7 P.M. in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, and for her Funeral Service on Tuesday October 23, 2018 at 10:30 A.M. Burial will follow in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
