Obituary of Ursula "Marie" Hildebrand

It is with great sadness that the family of Ursula “Marie” Hildebrand announces her passing on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at the age of 81. Marie was born on April 8, 1937 in Portland Maine. She was the loving daughter of Dominic DiBiase also of Portland and Kathleen (Dooley) DiBiase of Moose Mountain, New Brunswick Canada. Marie was President of her graduating class in 1955 at Cathedral High School in Portland, Maine. She married Gerard Hildebrand in 1957; shortly thereafter started her family. Marie courageously embarked on a career later in life and graduated from Essex Aggie with her associate’s degree. While managing five small children Marie earned her LPN license and began her career in nursing. Marie worked for over 30 years at the Hancock House Nursing Home in Beverly Massachusetts. She impacted not only the patients she cared for but her co-workers with her dedication and unparalleled kindness. Marie was a devoted mother and grandmother and cherished and found comfort in her Catholic faith. Marie is lovingly remembered by her children, daughter Cheryl Carter and husband James; son Michael Hildebrand and partner Maria Taormina, daughter Lisa Sanborn, son Martin Hildebrand and wife Heather, daughter Kathleen Forbes and her grandchildren Joshua, Zachary, Kayden, Jolie, Timothy, Danielle, Rachel and Caroline and her brothers, Richard DiBiase and Ronald DiBiase and his husband Carmine Mutascio. Marie was preceded in death by her brother, Robert DiBiase, her sister Barbara Perry, and her husband Gerard Hildebrand. Hours of visitation are scheduled for Wednesday from 4:00 until 8:0 PM at the Conway Funeral Home 82 Lynn Street, Peabody and her Funeral Service will be held on Thursday at 10:00 AM at the funeral home to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Burial services will be private in Portland, Maine.
