Obituary of Natalie (Anderson) Lindgren

Natalie (Anderson) Lindgren, 92, of Peabody, died early Friday morning at the Peabody Glen Nursing Home following a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of the late Roy Lindgren with whom she shared over 65 years of marriage. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Anders Ivar and Emma Christina (Petterson) Anderson. She was raised and educated in Arlington, and was a graduate of Arlington High School, class of 1932. She has been living in Peabody for the past 56 years. She was a housewife who enjoyed taking care of her husband and spending time with her nieces and nephews. She was an avid gardener and painter in both water color and oil base paint. She also enjoyed doing needlework and was an excellent seamstress. She is survived by a sister, Madeline Hanson of Lincoln, two nieces, Barbara Terrano and her husband Paul of Lincoln, and Roberta McCusker and her husband Michael of Westwoood, and a nephew, Richard Anderson of Melrose. She was the sister of the late Howard, Lawrence, and Frank Anderson and the aunt of the late Dorothy Larson. Her Funeral Service will be held on Monday at 1:00 PM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 LYNN STREET, Peabody, to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 12:00 Noon PM until 1:00 PM. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the Peabody Public Library, 82 Main St., Peabody, Ma 01960 or the Peabody Garden Club.
