Obituary of John J. Connors

John J. Connors, 56 PEABODY – John J. Connors, 56, died peacefully on Saturday evening November 17, 2018, at the Blueberry Hill Nursing Home in Beverly following an extended illness. Born in Salem, he was the son of Janet M. (Cormier) Connors and the late James E. Connors. He grew up in Peabody, and graduated from Peabody Vocational High School, Class of 1981. John worked construction with his extended family, Murdoch Construction and his brother Patrick Connors Construction where he was a great Lead Carpenter before health issues prevented him from working. John was an avid sports fan who favored the Bruins and Patriots. He will be remembered for his very generous spirit because he was always helping anyone regardless of their station in life, and he was a wonderful uncle to his nieces and nephews. He is survived by his mother Janet Connors of Peabody; his six brothers and sisters, James Connors of Peabody, Jayne Chlopek and her husband Jerry of Jacksonville, FL, Judy Romano and her husband David of Salem Township, ME, Joanne Felt and her husband Michae of Temple, ME, Patrick Connors of Peabody and Joseph Connors of Peabody, and a nephew Jonathan O’Neil who grew up in their home like the youngest brother; an uncle Frank Connors of North Andover; an aunt Marilyn Connors of Georgetown, and 29 nieces, nephews, many cousins and extended family. Following cremation, his family will have a private visitation, then a Funeral Mass on Saturday December 1, 2018 at 10:30 AM in St. Adelaide’s Church, Peabody.
