Obituary of Isabel Ann (Balkus) King

Isabel A. King, 98, of Peabody passed away on December 21, 2018. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Michael M. King and her son, Hilary G. King. Born in Peabody she was raised here graduating from Peabody High School and after marrying her husband Michael who was in the US Navy she traveled around the United States before returning to Peabody in 1968. She enjoyed gardening around her house planting flowers, traveling, walking her dog and dining out. She had been a volunteer and the MGH Cancer Center in Danvers and the Spaulding Rehab Hospital in Salem MA. She is survived by her daughter, Ann King of Peabody, her beloved niece, Lyne Lepone and her husband Jerry of Peabody. A private family service will be held at the convenience of her family.
