Obituary of Kathleen Atkinson

Kathleen Atkinson, 45 of Salem, MA died on Christmas Day, December 25, 2018 at Boston City Hospital, Boston. She was born in Salem, MA, the daughter of John and Linda (Smigliani) Atkinson and was raised in Peabody graduating from Peabody High School in 1991. She had played for the Soccer Team and Track Team at Peabody Vet. Mem. High and later played on many softball teams. Kathleen had been a sales person at Dunkin Donuts and had a love of music. She also enjoyed going fishing for the striped bass off of Congress St. in Salem and she will be dearly missed by her many friends. She is survived by her parents of Peabody, her 2 daughters, Brittani Atkinson of Woburn and Katania Vasquez of Lynn, MA, a granddaughter, Kataliyah Vasquez of Lynn and her aunt and godmother, Diane Dunbar of South Boston. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 2, 2018 from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill -Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. Her Service will be held there on Thursday at 11:00 AM with committal in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem.
