Obituary of Dolores Teresa (Faia) Moody

Dolores T. (Faia) Moody, 80, of Peabody and formerly of Lynn, died Sunday at her residence. She was the loving wife of the late Roland Moody who died in 2012. She was born in Lynn, MA on May 9, 1938, the daughter of the late John and Phyllis (Bryder) Faia and was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School in 1956. She had resided in Peabody for the past 55 years and was a communicant of St. Ann’s Church in Peabody. She loved spending and devoting time to her family, especially her grandchildren; all her girl friends and decorating her home. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, David and Michelle Moody of Dunstable, MA, a daughter and son-on-law, Deborah and James Murphy of Peabody, her precious grandchildren, Lauren Adario and her husband Craig of Lynn, Michael Murphy and his fiancé Sarah Di Benedetto of Peabody, Meagan Moody and her fiancé Christopher Romanowski of Phil.,PA, Heather Moody of Hermosa Beach, CA and Nicole Moody of Dunstable, MA, a brother, John Faia of Lynnfield and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Phyllis Sperounis. A Visitation will be held on Friday, January 4, 2019 from 9:30 until 10:30 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, 140 Lynn St., Peabody at 11:00 AM.
