Obituary of Dianne Rose (Coviello) Picano
Dianne R. ( Coviello ) Picano 57, wife of Robert Picano of So. Peabody died Saturday evening December 20th, 2003 in her home surrounded by her family after an illness of several months.
Mrs Picano was born on October 2, 1946 in Revere, the daughter of the late Albert L. and Ida (Serino) Coviello, she had resided in Lynn before moving to Peabody 32 years ago. She was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School in 1964.
Prior to her illness she was employed by the city of Peabody as a senior clerk in the city clerk office for twenty years. She was very involved in the election process for the city of Peabody.
A devoted mother and friend, Dianne spent countless hours caring for others. In her spare time she enjoyed arts and crafts and will always be remembered for her talent in decorating the holiday doors at city hall.
In addition to her husband with whom she shared 38 years of marriage,, she is survived by 3 sons and 2 daughters-in-law, Anthony L. and Christine Picano, Robert A. and Stepanie Picano and Nicholas R. Picano all of Peabody, 2 grandchildren, Alexandra and Robert Picano of Peabody and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also the mother of the late Brian Picano.
Her funeral will be held on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 20 Church St., Peabody facility followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Ann Church, 140 Lynn St., Peabody. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody. Visiting hours on Friday Dec. 26, 2003 from
