Obituary of Angelike "Kiki" Lekos

Angelike “Kiki” Lekos, 91, of Peabody, passed away peaceful Wednesday evening at her home surrounded by her loving family following a long illness. Born in Lowell, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Anastacia (Tsatsakis) Manolopoulos. She was raised and educated in Lowell and has lived in Peabody for the past 60 years. Kiki was a secretary with St. Vasilios Church in Peabody prior to her retirement, she loved every minute of the 40 plus years there. She was a lifelong member of St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church in Peabody. Actively involved with the Philoptochos Athena and the PTA. She was the recipient of the St. Vasilios parishioner of the year for her dedication and service. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her loving family and many friends. She especially enjoyed traveling which gave her many memories that lasted a lifetime. She will be dearly missed. Kiki leaves behind her loving daughter Deborah Germano and her husband Thomas of Peabody, and her daughter-in-law Lisa Lekos of Lynn. She also leaves her cherished grandchildren Ashley her husband Anthony Fontina, Thomas Germano Jr. and Eric Germano all of Peabody. She also leaves three great-grandchildren Arabella and Jaxon Fontina and Laylah Germano; a sister Mary Drivas of Peabody and many nieces and nephews all of whom she adored! She is predeceased by her husband James and her son Larry Lekos and her three brothers John, Ted and Charles ‘Dino’ Manolopoulos and brother-in-law Arthur Drivas. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather for a visitation at Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St, Peabody, MA on Friday, January 11th from 4:00 until 7:00 PM and Saturday from 8:30 until 9:30 AM, followed by her Funeral Service at 10:00 AM at St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church, Paleologos St, Peabody. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody. Memorial donations may be made in her memory to St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church 7-9 Paleologos St, Peabody, MA 01970.
