Obituary of Gerald C McKinnon, Sr

Gerald C. McKinnon, Sr.75, of Revere and formerly of the South End, died early Tuesday morning at the Sawtelle Hospice House in Reading following a lengthy illness. He is survived by his four children, Gerald C. McKinnon, Jr. and his wife Stephanie of Orlando, FL, Robert McKinnon of Salem, Mary Austin of Peabody, and Brian T. McKinnon and his wife Victoria of Colorado Springs, CO, his 8 grandchildren, Garret, Michael, Zachary, Caitlin, and Kyle McKinnon, all of Orlando, FL, Danielle and her husband Joseph Monastiero of Middleton, and Anthony and Emily McKinnon of Colorado Springs, CO, his siblings, Denise Anthony of Attleboro, Dorothy Petroni and her husband Richard of Walpole, Patricia Durgin of Sharon, and Kevin McKinnon and his wife Susan of Stoughton, survived by many nieces and nephews. Gerald was the cherished son of the late Michael F. McKinnon Sr. and Dorothy (Malcolm) and was predeceased by his siblings, Michael and Francis McKinnon, Ann Marie Neault, Lorraine DeFelice, and Robert McKinnon. Gerald was an avid reader, loved walking Revere Beach and was a retired Local 7 Iron Worker. His funeral will be held on Friday at 9:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral, 82 Lynn St, Peabody followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Ann’s Church, Lynn St, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Cedar Grove Ave, Peabody.
