Obituary of Anibal Gustavo Benavides

Anibal Gustavo Benavides, 78, of Peabody, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday January 24, 2019 after complications from pulmonary fibrosis. Gus was born on September 8, 1940 in Ecuador. He enjoyed being with family as much as his family loved him. He had a way about him that was warm & full of life; always making people laugh, but his greatest love was his Lord and Savior and his wife. He is survived by his wife Ana, his son Peter and his wife Denise and their children, Peter Benavides, Jr and Benjamin Benavides, his daughter, Alexandra Casassa and her husband Brian and their children, Jessica Casassa, Jaclyn Casassa, and Noah Casassa and his wife Cortney, and his son Gus Benavides and his wife Colleen and their children, Saige Benavides, Malcolm Benavides, and Noelle Benavides. Visiting hours will be held on Monday January 28, from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St, Peabody. His Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at Calvary Christian Church, 47 Grove St, Lynnfield to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
