Obituary of Thomas L. Bergeron

Thomas L. Bergeron, 60 ROCHESTER, NH / PEABODY – Thomas L. Bergeron, 60, of Rochester, NH and formerly of Peabody, beloved husband of Cheryl (Hutchins) Bergeron, died unexpectedly on Friday January 25, 2019 at the Beverly Hospital, following an extended illness, while in the comforting presence of his loving family. Born in Saugus, he was the son of the late Donald and Dorothy (Guzofski) Ronan, and lived most of his life in Peabody where he attended schools. Tom worked as a Truck Driver with several companies, mostly with Paulino Waste Hauling before retiring due to some health issues. Tom raised ducks and chickens, and enjoyed spending time in nature with his vegetable garden. He was a very hard-working man who devoted his life to his family. He cherished taking his grandchildren fishing and just being with them as a beloved grandfather. He had a giving spirit and will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege to know him. He is survived by his wife Cheryl (Hutchins) Bergeron of Rochester, NH; four sons, Thomas R. Bergeron and his wife Christine of Exeter, NH, Shane Bergeron and his wife Genny of Kingston, NH, Jason Bergeron and his wife Renee of Manchester, NH, and Mark Bergeron and his wife Jessica of Swampscott; nine grandchildren, Marky, Gabi, Cameron, Sophie, Chloe, Brandon, Samantha, Haily, and Jenni; five brothers and sisters, David Bolles of Naples, ME, Judy Bergeron of Peabody, Barbara Bergeron of Peabody, Charles Bergeron of Danvers, and Carol Bergeron and her husband Juan Nunez of Peabody; a sister-in-law Millie Dion Bergeron of Salem; a brother-in-law John Hutchins, JR. of Beverly; his mother-in-law Virginia Hutchins of Peabody, and several nieces and nephews. A cremation was planned with a family gathering to be held in late Spring.
