Obituary of Ann M. (Murray) Broughton
Ann M. (Murray) Broughton, 70, formally of Columbus Rd., Peabody, died late Monday morning at the Salem Hospital, following a long illness. She was the loving wife of the late Leonard D. Broughton.
Born and raised in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late Clarence & Angela (Harrigan) Murray. She was a lifelong resident of the city of Peabody and had attended
St. John’ s Grammar School in Peabody, Notre Dame Academy in Tynsboro and was a graduate of Peabody High School, class of 1950.
She was a dedicated mother who devoted her time to raising her family. She also was a member of the Peabody Women’ s Club, Daughters of the American Revolution, and a communicant of St. John’ s Church, Peabody.
She is survived by her loving family including a son and daughter-in-law, Brody & Arlene Broughton of Peabody; 2 daughters and son-in-laws, Suzann & Richard Cameron of Sparta, NJ. and Deborah Ann & David Kapetanopoulos of Gloucester, and 8 grandchildren.
