Obituary of Diane M Mineo

Diane M. Mineo, 57, of Salem, passed away Saturday morning surrounded by her loving family at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers following a courageous battle against cancer. Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Santo and Gloria (Mento) Mineo. She was a life-long resident of Salem and a graduate of Salem High School, Class of 1979 and Marian Court College in Swampscott. Diane spent over 35 years working in the banking industry, most recently with Peoples United Bank. Diane enjoyed reading and puzzles, but her favorite endeavor was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and sharing in all of their activities. She will be dearly missed. Diane is survived by her daughter Kalyn and her husband Russell McGlone, Jr. of Salem. She is also survived by her siblings, Frank and Marie Mineo of Sarasota, Fl, her twin brother, David Mineo of Salem, Anthony and Susan Mineo of Cumming, GA, Julie and David Venedam of Merrimack, NH and Susan Mineo of Peabody, and is also survived by her two beloved grandchildren, Alexa and Timothy McGlone, many nieces and nephews, and special cousin Nelliann Shea. Following cremation, her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 8, at 11:00 AM at St. John’s Church, Peabody. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Burial will be held at a later date.
