Obituary of Jacqueline (Pelletier) Wiebe

Jacqueline (Pelletier) Wiebe, 74, of Sun City, Az, formerly of Salem, passed away, February 26, unexpectedly at her residence in Sun City, AZ. She was the beloved wife of the late Lester Wiebe, with whom she shared 43 years of marriage. Jacqueline was born in Salem, MA on January 13, 1945, daughter of the late Rene and Lucille (Jean) Pelletier. She was raised and educated in Salem, graduating from St. Joseph’s Academy in 1963. Prior to her retirement she worked as a receptionist at Brooksby Village in Peabody. Once she retired, she moved out to Sun City, AZ where she had become an active member of the community. She was somebody who enjoyed life, and cherished all the people around her. She enjoyed dancing with her husband, Lester, she had such a love for animals, including her two dogs, Chico and Simon. She is very loved and will be missed by all who knew her. She leaves behind her children, Christopher Wiebe, Kimberly Godfrey, Connie Wiebe and her husband Peter Nogas; a daughter-in-law, Lisa Eklund; her grandchildren, Wyatt, Angela, Vincent, Theresa, Sarah, Davina, Arthur, Hannah, Brandyn, Krystyna, Logan, Nathan, Lilly, Nicholas; her great-grandchildren Zoe, Cael, Giovanni, Rielynn, Lydia, Madison, Anthony, Tyler, and Alex; her siblings, Raymond Pelletier and his wife Linda, Ann Kelley and her husband Kevin, and Theresa Labreque; her niece and nephews, Brett, Cameron, Melissa, Daniel, Mark and Jess, Brenda; great nieces and nephews Devon, Kayleigh, Blake, Payton, Nathan and Ryan. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Alyssa, and two great-grandchildren, Michael and Kayla Following cremation, visiting hours will be held on Friday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to a charity of one’s choice.
