Obituary of David E. Elwell

David E. Elwell, 74, of Peabody, passed away March 9, his 74th birthday, at the Hunt Nursing Center in Danvers, following a lengthy illness. David was born in Lynn, MA, on March 9, 1945, son of the late Hudson and Evelyn (Evans) Elwell. He was raised and educated in Saugus, and was a graduate of Saugus High School, Class of 1963. Prior to his retirement, he worked as a heating technician for 30 years for various companies around the North Shore. David also had a love for cars, especially the Chevrolet Corvette. He was also a member of the Corvette Club. David is survived by his wife Deborah; his children, John Elwell, Peter Elwell, and Suzanne Martineau; 9 grandchildren; his siblings, Alan Elwell and Eveyln Salois; his best friends, Bruce Rollins and Judith Grunst.. A visitation will be held on Monday, March 18 from 11A.M – 12P.M. at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 12P.M.
