Obituary of Christine R. "Tina" Lindquist

Christine R. “Tina” (Szpak) Lindquist, 68, of Hampton, NH and formerly of Peabody and Salem, died Wednesday afternoon at the High Point Hospice House in Haverhill following a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of the late Kenneth F. “Link” Lindquist. Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Rudolph and Gwendolyn (Mann) Szpak. She was raised and educated in Salem and was a graduate of Salem High School, class of 1968. She later lived in Peabody for many years, then lived in Sebring Fl for 5 years and has spent the last year living in Hampton, NH. Tina was employed with Anna Jacques Hospital for over 20 years as a medical assistant until her retirement. She was a member of Women’s Auxiliary Italian American Club in Peabody for over 18 years, and organized the annual Christmas parties and other various dinners there as well. When she moved to Florida, she discovered the game mahjong and enjoyed playing with her friends there. Tina is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Todd and Tobi Dabrieo of Fremont, NH and Daniel and Lisa Dabrieo of North Reading, her brother, Rudolph Szpak Jr of LA, her sisters, Connie Margolis of Moultonborough, NH and Patricia Vlk of LA, her brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Kelly Lindquist of Rosebud, AR and Karen and Dennis Roy of Rowley, her beloved five grandchildren, Todd Jr, Kira, Lara, Joseph, and Lindsey Dabrieo and by several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings, Matthew Szpak and Elizabeth “Betty” Lord. Following cremation, visiting hours will be held on Saturday from 9:00 until 11:00 AM followed by her Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
