Obituary of Richard K. Dylingowski
Richard K. Dylingowski, 82 LYNN -- Richard K. Dylingowski, 82, of Newburyport and formerly of Lynn, passed away Friday afternoon, at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of the late Ruth (Kureta) Dylingowski, with whom he shared over 55 years of marriage. Born in Lynn, he was the son of the late William and Gladys (Zelinski) Dylingowski. He was raised and educated in Lynn, where he made his home for 70 years, before moving to Newburyport 10 years ago. Richard served as a mechanic in the United States Air Force from August 1954 to January 1958, during the Korean Conflict. He a later became the proprietor/barber of Roy’s Barbershop in Tewksbury, for over 50 years. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Lorraine Dylingowski of Newburyport, his daughter and son-in-law, Dina and Peter Kleros of Beverly, his four grandchildren, Alexander and Aleni Kleros and Robin and Jayson Dylingowski, and by several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, April 11, from 10 AM until 12:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St, Peabody, followed by his Funeral Service at the funeral home at 12:00 PM Noon to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Burial services will be private.
