Obituary of Chou King Ng
Chou King Ng, 80, of Quincy, passed away early Sunday morning at the South Cove Manor at Quincy Point Rehab Center, in the presence of her family. Chou King Ng was born in China, on November 11, 1938, daughter of the late George and Wing Thuey Hom. She spent most of her adult life as a seamstress and homemaker, caring for her children, who refer to her as the “coolest mom.” She was the type of mother that showed love through her great sense of humor, known for being a “jokester”, and even telling a few jokes around the dinner table. She enjoyed watching a wide variety of T.V. shows, from the funny and satirical “Carol Burnett Show”, to the wild and outrageous “Jerry Springer Show.” Most of all, she loved being surrounded by her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be forever remember for her great sense of humor and her nurturing spirit. She is survived by her children and their spouses, David Ng & Betty Szeto of Sharon, MA, Andy & Virgina Ng of GA, Robert & Nancy Ng of CA, and Jeany & Skip Reddington of Peabody; her grandchildren, Dakota, Madison, Jacob, Brandon, Timothy, Andrew, Danny, Christopher, and Skip; and a sister, Sally Lee of Brookline. She was the mother of the late James Ng. A Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2019, from 10 – 11A.M. at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody followed by a family service at 11 A.M.
