Obituary of William F Manos

William F Manos, 50, of Salem and formerly of Danvers, died Sunday at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital after injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident earlier on Sunday. He was the former husband of Deborah (Firth) Manos. Born in Salem, he was the son of the late Francis and Maria (Serpa) Manos and step-son of Julie Manos and Lydia Ouellette. He was raised and educated in Danvers and has lived in Salem for the past 2 years. Bill was a mechanic who worked independently throughout the North Shore as the owner of KB Engines. Growing up, Bill was an accomplished boxer, winning many titles, including the Junior Olympics and Silver Mittens. His main passion in life was riding any machine, especially those with two wheels. He was a highly skilled rider and in his younger days, loved riding his wheelies as long as they would take him. He most enjoyed riding with friends, enjoying the “dance” between riders and bikes He described a freedom and peace when on his bike. He is survived by his three sons, Niall Vallega, Billy Manos, and Mike Manos, his daughter, Serena Manos, his two sisters, Jennifer and Marilyn Manos, his brother, Gene Ouellette, his two grandchildren, Aaliyah Manos and Gino Vallega, his nieces and nephews, Shauna and Jill Manos, Raymond and Talon Ouellette and his great nephew David Farrar. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM followed by his Funeral Service at 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St, Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
