Obituary of Gary W. Miller

Gary W. Miller, 67, of Lynnfield, passed away Thursday, April 25, at the NSMC-Union Hospital, following a brief illness. He was the beloved husband of Rosemarie (Kanarkiewicz) Miller, with whom he shared 41 years of marriage. Gary was born on October 4, 1951, in Boston, MA, son of the late Walter and Helen (Sudol) Miller. After High school, Gary received certifications in Plumbing and Aviation Maintenance, but most recently he was working as a Fuel Manager at General Electric in Lynn. He was very technically inclined, so much so that he once took an engine out of his daughter’s car, piece by piece, fixed it, then put it back in the car, all without using a manual. He loved old-fashioned cars, especially Chevy, had a love for airplanes and flying, enjoyed boating, riding around on his motorcycle, his cats, but most importantly, being surrounded by his family, especially his grandchildren, Annabel and Caroline. Besides his loving wife, he leaves behind a daughter and her husband, Adrienne & Aaron Manes of Lynnfield; his granddaughters, Annabel and Caroline; a sister, Marilyn Nagle of Reading, and nieces, nephews, and friends. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 30, from 6 – 8P.M. at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody. His funeral will be held on Wednesday, May 1, at the funeral home at 9:30A.M. followed by a funeral mass at St. Adelaide Church, 708 Lowell St., Peabody at 10:30A.M. He will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
