Uncle George, memories of you will always bring smiles to our faces. There was never a dull moment when you were around. We will always remember fondly our Thanksgivings with you. Although they were certainly not from an episode of "The Waltons," they were filled with love and laughter.
We will miss you. Aunt Jan and all our cousins, we send our love and prayers.

It is hard to do justice to the memory of a man of such overt, remarkable and wide-ranging talents. George taught me more about how to live than anybody else -- not by lectures, but by example. He hated his illness as much as he loved life. So when the end came, it was nearly as much a relief as a sorrow, or so I thought. Now, selfishly, it is hard to believe I'll never be able to ask his advice again or hear him play the piano or talk about a great piece of music or tell another funny story. Instead, I'll have to rely on my memory of him, which is certain to be far less instructive & amusing.
Brother George! The glowing obituaries do not even scratch the surface of the life of a man who truly made a difference and and greatly improved the lives of everone he touched. You were the most brilliant and talented person I ever knew, and that is my honest opinion. I will miss you greatly. Brother Dan.

Brother and Brother-In-Law George:

We will fondly remember our vacations and the time we watched what you described as the “farfalonis” growing on the walls of the cottage on Canadarago Lake. We will miss your patience as you shopped for a replacement motor for the boat after the kids watched the one that came with it speed to the bottom of the lake.

We remember holding our noses visiting the fort in Bermuda while Grandma Guilbault had everything “safely under control” back in Natick. We remember the times we had in Italy racing to beat out the “gorts” to get the best from our tour.

We will never forget the Thanksgiving visits, the Wintersauce concerts, and most especially the many chances for our families to share such happy times together.

Thank you George and Jan for all that you have done in bringing our families together.

George was one of the greatest people I ever met. I always looked forward to the annual party he threw for people at work and he had a talent for making everyone feel at home and welcome. The color he could add to a story could make his telling of a routine trip to the store or a meeting with the Teamsters a hilarious and memorable event. His life added color to us all and I will miss him. Jan, Sue and Patricia, (and the rest of George’s wonderful family whom I have not met), you are all in my prayers. I look forward to seeing you all on the 19th.

George was one of the most humorous individuals I have ever known. His middle name was Entertainment. And music was his life, though not his livlihood. George was more than a client of mine. And shared his contacts with me. I will miss him very much.

I was a classmate of George in Amsterdam. George led a small dance band we formed in 9th grade called "The Silver Seven" which lasted for part of our Sophmore year until we realized it was more fun to dance than to play for the dance. He was a talented musician and lots of fun. I talked to Janice today and want to express my sadness to his sons. Rod Hinkle

Some of our fondest memories of you are when you would sit down at the piano a few hours into one of your Wintersauce parties and play the piano for hours. It was always a joy to hear you play and tell stories. Through Wintersauce you provided us with a special experience which will not be forgotten. You will be missed.
