Obituary of John Ernest Christensen

John Ernest Christensen, 70, of Peabody, died on Thursday April 25 at Beverly Hospital following a Cardiac Arrest. He was the son of the late Ernest W. and Evelyn (Ring) Christensen. He was a graduate of Peabody High class of 1966. Following his graduation, he enlisted with the United States Army and served during the Vietnam War before his honorable discharge in 1970. John was a singer and sang in the local band, “Duke and The Earle Band” for many years. John is survived by his siblings, Ronald E Christensen and Myra Christensen, both of Peabody. Following cremation, a graveside service will be held on Wednesday at 12:00 PM at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody, friends are kindly invited to attend.
