Obituary of Olga (Esauk-Saevsky) Kuchinsky

Olga (Esauk-Saevsky) Kuchinsky, 87, wife Andrew J. Kuchinsky, died early Saturday morning at the Rainbow Nursing Home, following a long illness. She was born and raised in Cambridge, daughter of the late Stratonick & Pollie (Cilgaena) Saevsky. She was educated in Cambridge, and later moved to Arlington and then to Concord, where she had lived for 40 years before moving to Peabody two years ago. Mrs. Kuchinsky was a lifelong learner and received her GED at the age of 68 from Hanscom Field in Bedford, MA. She was employed and as a cook in the Concord School Cafeteria until her retirement several years ago. She was a creative woman who loved music. Her hobbies included sewing, knitting, reading, writing, and gardening. She also was a leader of a Bluebird and Campfire Troops in Arlington for several years. She was communicant of the Russian Orthodox Cathedral in Boston. Besides her husband, with whom she shared 62 years of marriage, Mrs. Kuchinsky is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Andrew & Dorothea Kuchinsky of Peabody; a daughter and a son-in-law, Lisa & David Coughlin of Baker, Oregon; four grandchildren, Frederick Sullivan, Gregory Kuchinsky, Sara Kuchinsky, and Jennifer Coughlin; two great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Elizabeth Kozlowski and Alexandra Hunt. Peabody, April 6, 2002. Olga (Esauk-Saevsky) Kuchinsky, 87, wife of Andrew J. Kuchinsky of Peabody. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4-8 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 12 Chestnut St., Peabody Facility, to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
