Obituary of Helen E. (Ferullo) Stillman

Helen E. (Ferullo) Stillman, 93, of Peabody, died peacefully on Sunday, May 19, 2019 at her residence with her family by her side. She was the devoted wife of the late Leonard Stillman. Helen was born in Boston, MA on January 2, 1926, the daughter of the late Joseph and Asunta (Matarazzo) Ferullo and was raised and educated in Boston before moving to Peabody 55 years ago. She was an excellent cook serving her special recipes to her family. She also loved to travel with her family to Bermuda, N.H., Las Vegas and Florida. She enjoyed her card games on Tuesday nights with her friends and dining out in local restaurants, but her most treasured time was being, “Nana”, “Gigi”, "Ma" and “NeNe” to her grandchildren and great grandchildren and watching them grow and mature. She was a member of St. Adelaide’s Church. She is survived by her two daughters, Judy Orlando and her husband Michael and Elaine Bain all of West Peabody, her four grandchildren, Michael and his wife Nicole Orlando, Lauren and her husband Dan La Torella, and Amanda and Michael Bain, her 4 great grandchildren, Logan, Gino, Luke and Lia and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late David Stillman and the last of Eleven Ferullo Children, Michael, Louis, Anthony, Joseph, John, Mary and Margaret Ferullo, Viola Manozzi, Bonnie Sciarappa, and Mae Finamore. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 4:00 until 8:00 PM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility. Her funeral will be held on Thursday, May 23,2019 at 9:00 AM from the Funeral Home followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Adelaide’s Church, 708 Lowell ST., West Peabody at 10:00 AM.
