Obituary of Estelle T Jeter

Estelle Theresa (Furtado) Jeter, 73, of Peabody, died unexpectedly on Wednesday May 22 at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington. She was the devoted wife of David Lee Jeter. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Connie (Fucci) Furtado. She was raised and educated in East Boston and has lived in Peabody for the past few years. She was a benefits administrator for the MTA for many years before she retired. Besides her loving husband, she is survived by her three sons, David Lee Jeter, Jr and his wife Karen of Winthrop, Christopher and Caulean Jeter of Hiram, GA and by Erik Jeter of Peabody, her two brothers, Gerard and his wife Patricia Furtado of Chelsea and John and his wife Sandra Furtado of Newton, NH, her sister, Frances and her husband Gordon Lewis of Plaistow, NH, and by her beloved grandchildren, Katie, Michael, Christina, Mykayla, Erik Jr, Freddi, and Emily Jeter, and Jeff and Dan Jarvis, her great grandchildren, Chace, Jack, Aliza, and Serena Jarvis.
