Obituary of Adele C. (Russell) Walsh

Adele C. (Russell) Walsh, 84, of Peabody, died peacefully at her temporary residence at Brightview Gardens Assisted Living in Danvers on Sunday, June 2, 2019 after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late John J. “Jack” Walsh Jr. She was born in Medford, MA on May 23, 1935, the daughter of the late Gerald and Geraldine (Martin) Russell and was raised in Malden and had resided in Peabody since her marriage before moving to Danvers five years ago. She had been a homemaker and enjoyed raising her three children and grandchildren and watching them grow to maturity. While in Peabody, she was a communicant of St. Adelaide Church in West Peabody. She is survived by her two daughters, Julie Brophy of Manchester by the sea, MA and Kathleen Paulick of Bel-Air, Maryland, a son and daughter-in-law, David and Kim Walsh of Newton, MA, her six cherished grandchildren, a great grandchild and many nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2019 from 10:00 until 11:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill Brodeur Funeral home at the 82 Lynn St., Peabody facility followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Adelaide’s Church, 708 Lowell St., West Peabody, at 11:30 A.M.
