Obituary of Elmira J. Santos

Elmira J. Santos PEABODY—Elmira J. Santos, 49, died Tuesday afternoon at the North Shore Medical Center Salem Hospital following a brief illness. Born in Graciosa, Azores, Portugal, she was the daughter of Maria (Espinola) Santos of Peabody and the late Jose Santos. She was a lifelong resident of the city and graduated from Peabody High School. Ms. Santos was employed with Friend Box Company in Danvers as an Assembler. She was a person who valued her very close-knit family and that was the center of her life, and she enjoyed riding her bike. She will be dearly missed by her family, including: her mother, Maria (Espinola) Santos of Peabody; a brother, Carlos “Charles” Santos of Peabody; two sisters, Zelia Baptista of Peabody and Almirinda Capaldo of Townsend, MA. Her funeral will be held on Friday at 9 AM from the NEW LOCATION of the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St. facility, Peabody, followed by a Funeral Mass on Friday at 10 AM in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Peabody, to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 5 to 8 P.M. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem
