Obituary of Lorraine (McMahon) Perkins
Lorraine (McMahon) Perkins, 68, of Peabody, died late Sunday evening at her home following a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of the late William Andrew Perkins.
Born in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late James and Dorothy (Pierce) McMahon. She was a lifelong resident of Peabody and attended Peabody Public Schools.
Prior to her retirement, she worked as Packer for Vincent Potato Chips in Salem. She was an avid beano player and also enjoyed doing puzzles and crossword puzzles.
She is survived by three sons, Keith Wilhelm of Peabody, James Perkins of Peabody, and Mark Perkins of Quincy; three brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Mickey McMahon of New Hampshire, Timothy and Diane McMahon of Danvers, and Daniel and Carol McMahon of Amesbury; a sister, Constance LeBrun of Peabody; a daughter-in-law, Brenda Wilhelm of Beverly, a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Mary Lou and Jim Parks of Waterboro, Maine; six grandchildren, Jeffrey, Eric, Jennifer, Trisha, Richard, and Keith Wilhelm Jr., and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was the mother of the late Jeffrey Wilhelm, and sister of the late, Leonard, Robert, Donald, and John McMahon.
A Memorial gathering will be held on Friday from 9 until 10:45 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 12 Chestnut St., Peabody Facility, followed by a Memorial Funeral Mass in St. John’ s Church, Peabody, at 11:00 AM to which relatives and friends are invited to attend.
