Obituary of Elizabeth A. "Betty" (Barbrick) Cersosimo

Elizabeth A. Betty (Barbrick) Cersosimo, 72 years of Peabody died Sunday afternoon at her daughter Jeanne’ s home in Peabody after a brief illness. Mrs. Cersosimo was born November 8, 1929 in Salem daughter of the late Alexander and Theresa (Nagle) Barbrick. She was raised and educated in Salem graduating from Salem High School class of 1948. She moved to Peabody in 1950 where she has since lived. Mrs. Cersosimo was employed for more than 20 years as a sales clerk at the former Almy, Bigelow & Washburn department store in Salem and Peabody. As a hobby she enjoyed bowling and was a member of the Eastman Gelatine Bowling League in Peabody. She also enjoyed her family. She is survived by a son and his wife, Louis M. and Melissa Cersosimo of Peabody; 2 daughters and a son-in-law, Carol A. Cersosimo and Jeanne M. and Reevie Parma all of Peabody; a brother, Raymond Barbrick of Peabody; 5 grandchildren, Michael Cersosimo, Lori Cersosimo, Matthew Cliffe, Andrew Cliffe and Jacqueline Parma all of Peabody and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Leo, John and Lester Barbrick and Phyllis Henry. Her funeral service be held Friday at 11 a.m. in the Cahill-Brodeur facility 20 Church St., Peabody (978-531-0472) of the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home.
