Obituary of Julia B. (Zachko) Muise
Julia B. (Zachko) Muise, 91, wife of the late Edmund J. Muise, Sr., died early Tuesday morning at the Peabody Glen Nursing Home, following a brief illness.
Born and raised in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late John & Susan Zachko. She had lived in Lynn for most of her youth and had attended Lynn Public Schools. She later moved to Peabody and has been a resident of the city for over 60 years.
She had worked as an assembler for General Electric in Lynn for 17 years prior to her retirement many years ago.
She enjoyed playing bingo, Ball Room Dancing and Polish Polka’ s, knitting afghans, and spending time with the Peabody counseling on Aging. Most importantly she enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Edmund J. & Lillian Muise, Jr., of Villages, Fla.; a daughter and son-in-law, Judith & Robert W. Anderson of Peabody; 5 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, Edmund J. Muise, Sr., she was predeceased by 2 brothers, Peter & Michael Zachko, 5 sisters, Susan Malm, Annie Curris, Mary Gosselin, Catherine Bourke, and Helen Demers.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 8:00 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 20 Church St., Peabody Facility (978) 531-0472, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Ann’ s Church, Peabody at 9:00 AM to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visitation on Thursday from 4-8 PM. Burial in St. Joseph’ s Cemetery, Lynn.
