Obituary of Paul J. Brasil
Paul J. Brasil 34 years of Haverhill died unexpectedly on Tuesday in Haverhill.
Mr. Brasil was born January 9, 1970 in Terceira Azores Portugal son of Maria F. Melo of Warwick RI and Joaquin Brasil of Toronto Ontario Canada. He immigrated to the United States as a child and was raised and educated in Peabody. He moved to Haverhill in 1999.
Mr. Brasil was employed as a truck driver for Bell Simons Company in Haverhill. He was an enthusiast and fan of NASCAR Racing and his dream was to become a racing driver.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his maternal grandmother, Rosa (Candida) Melo of Peabody; 2 aunts and an uncle, Etelvina and Paul Henriques of Johnston RI and Iris Mello of Peabody; a nephew, Paul Henriques Jr. of RI and a niece, Cristina Henriques of RI. He was also pre deceased by his maternal grandfather Adolfo Melo an uncle Adolfo Mello.
His funeral will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m. from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 12 Chestnut St., Peabody location followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Peabody. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours Friday 5 to 8 p.m. Burial in St. Mary’ s Cemetery, Salem.
