Obituary of Patricia (Daniel) Kowalski

Patricia (Daniel) Kowalski, 101, of Peabody, died early Thursday evening at the Hunt Nursing Retirement Home following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Thomas Kowalski. Born in Poland, she was the daughter of the late Walenty and Barbara (Oles) Daniel. Mrs. Kowalski was an active member of Joseph’ s Church in Peabody and Holy Rosary Society as well as founder and life time member of that church. She was an officer of the United Polish Organization and the Polish American Citizens Club and lifetime time member of St. Michael’ s Society in Peabody. She worked tirelessly for the Polish community at St. Joseph’ s Church for the picnics and installations banquets. In addition to her late husband, she is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Theresa Teri and Patrick Splaine of Peabody; a sister, Pola Kielczycka of Poland and many devoted cousins. She was the sister of the late Frances and Elizabeth of Poland and Victoria and Clara of Peabody. Her funeral service will be held on Monday at 8:00 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral, 12 Chestnut St., Peabody Facility, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary’ s Annunciation Church, Danvers at 9:00 AM Burial in St. Mary’ s Cemetery, Salem. Visitation on Sunday from 4 until 8 PM. Expressions of Sympathy can be sent to the Charity of one’ s choice
