Obituary of William G. Cauley, Jr.

William G. Cauley, Jr., 46, of Salem, died unexpectedly on Saturday afternoon at Salem Hospital. He was the devoted husband of Donna L. (Bettencourt) Cauley with whom he shared over 20 years of marriage. Born in Peabody, he was the son of William G. Cauley Sr., and Pauline (Chigas) Cauley. He was raised and educated in Beverly, and was a graduate of Beverly High School, class of 1975. He later attended Salem State College, and recieved his BS Degere in Business Administration. He has been a resident of Salem for the past 16 years. He had worked as a Plant Manager for Hudson Polymer Concentrates in Leominster. He also enjoyed fishing, playing cards, and softball, and was a prominent football player during his days at Beverly High School. Besides his loving wife Donna, he is survived by his two children, Garrett and Brittany Cauley of Salem, two brothers, and a sister-in-law, Charles Cauley of Peabody, and Michael and Lynda Cauley of Hamiton; a sister and brother-in-law, Angela Cauley and her husband Tim Dick of Groveland, his mother-in-law, Christine Bettencourt of Peabody, three nieces, Alanna, Shauna, and Kerrianne and a nephew, Bryan Cauley, all of Hamilton, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. His funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 12 Chestnut St., Peabody Facility, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. John's Church, Peabody at 11:00 AM to which relatives and friends are invited to attend.
