Obituary of Eleanor June (Burnett) Sidman

Eleanor June (Burnett) Sidman, 87, of Peabody, died Tuesday evening at the Pilgrim Nursing Home, following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Abe Sidman. Born in Revere, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Florence (Hutchinson) Burnett. She was educated in Revere and Lynn and was a graduate of Lynn English High School. She later moved southwest to live and work in California and Arizona, and has lived in Peabody for the past 23 years. While living the South West, she worked as a Hotel Resort Manager, in both California and Arizona, prior to her retirement many years ago. She enjoyed Butterflies and the color gold. She is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Hilton and Sylvia Burnett of Peabody; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Maxie and Katherine Sidman of Peabody; two nieces, Terry Riley of Danvers, and Elizabeth and her husband Scott Cordiner of Salem; a great niece Erin Riley of Danvers. and several devoted friends. She was the sister of the late Edith Ford and Henry Burnett A graveside committal will be held on Monday morning at 11:30 AM at Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody, to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hospice of the North Shore, 10 Elm St. Danvers, MA 01923. Arrangements made by the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 12 Chestnut St., Peabody.
