Obituary of Josephine R. (Imbruglia) Bova

Josephine (Imbruglia) Bova, 63, of Boston and Revere, died early Saturday morning at the Beverly Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was the wife of the late Paul S. Bova. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late James and Rose (Caruso) Imbruglia. She was raised and educated in Boston and was a graduate of Brighton High School, class of 1958. She later lived in East Boston and then Revere before moving back to Boston a few years ago. Prior to her illness, she worked as a clerk for the Secretary of the State, William Galvin’ s office for over ten years. She also worked in the credit transfer department for Merchants Bank, and later Bank of New England. She was a dedicated mother who devoted her time and energy to both her children and grandchildren, and she also taking vigorous walks. She is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Paul Bova of Revere and Mark and Christina Bova of Messa, Arizona; 1 daughter and a son-in-law, Cheryl Bova-Kuchar and her husband William Kuchar of Revere; a brother and sister-in-law, James and Claire Imbruglia of Medford; a sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Emmanuel Petradelis of Peabody. She also is survived by 5 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph’ s Church, 68 Cardinal O’ Connell Way, Boston, to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial in St. Michael’ s Cemetery, Roslindale. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
