Obituary of Armida R. (Costantini) Gagnon
Armida R. (Costantini) Gagnon, 77, of Peabody, died early Thursday morning at Salem Hospital following a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of the late John W. Gagnon
Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Elisa (Fosco) Costantini. She was raised and educated in Lynn and was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School, class of 1945. She has been living in Peabody for over the last 40 years.
She was a marketing secretary for Fishery Product in Danvers for many years before retiring. She loved cooking and traveling and was a devoted and loving grandmother with a good sense of humor.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, John and Cheri Gagnon of Peabody; two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Paul Mac Dowell of Dedham, and Susan and Michael Liggiero of Peabody; a sister and brother-in-law, Laura and Bill Flanagan of Peabody; three grandchildren, Matthew and Gina Liggiero, and John J. Gagnon Jr., all of Peabody. She also is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Her funeral service will be held on Monday at 9:00 AM from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 12 Chestnut St., Peabody Facility, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Adelaide’ s Church, Peabody at 10:00 AM to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visitation on Sunday from 3 - 7 PM. Burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
