Obituary of Conceicao (Daniels) Coito

Conceicao COito, 92, of Peabody, died late Sunday evening at the Peabody Glen Nursing g Home following a brief illness. She was the devoted wife of the late Antonio Nunes Coito. Born in Gouveia, Portugal, she was the daughter of the late Henry Enrique and Antonia (de Jesus) Daniels. She was raised and educated in Portugal before immigrating to the United States. She has resided in Peabody for the past several years. Prior to her retirement, she worked for many years as a stitcher for New England Sportswear in Peabody and later for a Shoe Company in Cambridge. She is survived by two step brothers, Henry Daniels of Lynnfield and Enriques Daniels of Danvers, a step sister, Alice, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins in Portugal and the North Shore. A private graveside service was held on Thursday at the family lot in St. Mary’ s Cemetery, Salem. Funeral Arrangement were made by the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 12 Chestnut St., Peabody,
