Obituary of Leanne Marie (Santos) Bernaby

Leanne M. (Santos) Bernaby PEABODY—Leanne M. (Santos) Bernaby, 39, of North Conway, NH, beloved wife of Philip D. Bernaby of North Conway and loving daughter of William & Sandra (LaPointe) Santos of Peabody, died unexpectedly at her home in North Conway on Sunday. Born in Beverly on March 6, 1967, she was the daughter of William and Sandra (LaPointe) Santos. She lived here in her youth attending Peabody schools, and graduated from Peabody High School, Class of 1985. She then moved to the Mt. Washington Valley area of New Hampshire where she lived for the last 21 years. Ms. Bernaby worked at several businesses in the valley, most recently Jonathan’s Seafood Restaurant in Conway and Northern Human Services, also in Conway, NH. She was an avid Racketball player, runner, hiker, and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, as well as her three dogs Maggie, Myles, and Zoe. She will be dearly missed by her family, including: her husband, Philip D. Bernaby of North Conway, NH; a son, Christopher R. Kenny of North Conway; a daughter, Michelle M. Kenny of North Conway; her parents, William & Sandra (LaPointe) Santos of Peabody; a paternal grandmother, Silvinia Santos of Peabody; a brother, William T. Santos of Groveland; a sister, Patricia A. Santos of Peabody; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Her funeral will be held on Monday at 9 A.M. from the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St. new location in Peabody, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 AM in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Peabody, to which relatives and friends are kindly invited. A visitation will be held on Sunday from 5 to 8 P.M. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Conway Area Humane Society, P.O.
