Obituary of Judith A. (Shick) Brandi

Judith Anne (Shick) Brandi, 67, of West Peabody died early Friday morning at the Hunt Rehabilitation Center, Danvers after a long illness. She was the loving wife of Holten Brandi. Born in Akron, Ohio on September 24, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Blair and M. Lucille (Sponager) Shick and had resided in Upper Darby, Pa. before moving to Peabody 35 years ago. She and her husband first operated the Brandi Wharf Night Club in Philadelphia, Pa for 5 years. Later, after moving to West Peabody, they ran the Holten Brandi Catering Service in Danvers until she retired 6 years ago. She was also an excellent seamstress and enjoyed doing arts and crafts. Surviving her besides her husband of 35 years of marriage, are a son, Stephen Brandi of Peabody, a daughter and son-in-law, Suzane and Joseph Brandi- Reed of Peabody, a Step-daughter, Lisa Brandi and her husband, Michael Miller of Winthrop, a brother and sister-in-law, Blair C. and Sondra Shick of Newton, Ma., a sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Edward Ward of Elverson, Pa., 2 grandchildren, Nicholas and Olivia Brandi- Miller of Winthrop and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home at the 12 Chestnut St., Peabody facility. A Visitation will be held on Sunday from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M..
