Obituary of Anita "Jackie" Ellias

Anita Jackie Ellias, of Peabody, died Wednesday, May 5, 2004 at the Salem Hospital from complications of Diabetes. She was born in New Bedford, MA the daughter of the late Shago and Mary (Pashun ) Ellias and spent her youth there before moving to Peabody with her family. She was a graduate of Peabody High School, class of 1943 and was first employed at the Harris S. Knight Accounting firm in Salem for 10 years. She later became a bookkeeper at the Salem Country Club in Peabody for 25 years before her retirement 18 years ago. She loved to go shopping for bargains and was a very supportive aunt to all her nieces and nephews and family. She is survived by a sister, Rita Le Blanc of Peabody, 2 nieces, Gail De Nisco of Peabody and June Hites of Cambridge, 2 nephews, David Le Blanc of Portland, Or and Richard Le Blanc of Longmont, Co., and many grand nieces and grand nephews and great grand nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Helen Hodo and James Ellias and aunt of the late Raymond Linatopi. Her funeral will be held on Monday at 11:00 A.M. at the Conway, Cahill- Brodeur Funeral Home at the 12 Chestnut St., Peabody facility. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody. Visiting hours on Saturday Only from 5:00 until 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the charity of your choice.
