Obituary of Paul Leonard Paolucci
Paul L. Paolucci, 59, of Peabody, died early Monday evening at the Kenoza Manor Nursing Home in Haverhill following a brief illness. He was the devoted husband of the late Mary (Callahan) Paolucci.
Born in Peabody, he was the son of the late Peter Danish and Julia Paolucci. He was a lifelong resident of the city and attended Peabody Public Schools.
He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, served with the United States Air Force as a Propeller Mechanic. He later worked as a machinist for several companies on the North Shore before his illness.
He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed watching the Celtics, Bruins and Red Sox. He also enjoyed listening to Country Music, Johnny Cash and the Beatles. He was proud of his Italian Heritage and was a dedicated father, husband, and to his family.
He is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Matthew Paolucci of State College, Pa and Tedd and Lesley Paolucci of Peabody, and also is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
His Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM in St. John’ s Church, Peabody to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 12 Chestnut St., Peabody Facility. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the AMVETS, 7 Stevens St., Peabody, MA 01960.
