Obituary of Sean Robert Bates

Sean Robert Bates, 21, formerly of West Peabody, died unexpectedly in Spokane Washington on May 6, 2004.. He had recently moved there 2 months ago and had been a gardener with a landscaping Company for the past month. He was born in Stoneham, Ma. On October 1, 1982, the son of Robert and Bonnie (Garrity) Bates and had resided in Peabody most of his life before moving to Washington. He attended St. Mary’ s High School in Lynn where he played Hockey and was also a member of many regional hockey teams during his youth and junior league hockey programs. Surviving him besides his parents are a sister and brother-in-law, Jennifer and Thomas Ayers of Peabody, his paternal grandmother, Marie Bates of Penacook, NH and his maternal grandmother, Eleanor Garrity of West Lebanon, NH, a niece and goddaughter, Marie Ayers of Peabody, an aunt, Sharon Parpart of Penacook, NH and many cousins. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, Mary 21, 2003 at 10:00 AM at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home 20 Church St., Peabody. Relatives and friends Are kindly invited.
