Obituary of Elaine Dorothy Crisp

Elaine Dorothy (Pearson) Crisp, 62, of Peabody, died Tuesday at the Beverly Hospital after a long battle with cancer. She was the wife Of James Condon Crisp with whom she shared 44 years of marriage. Born in Somerville, daughter of the late Melvin H. and Dorothy (Rigg) Pearson, She was raised in Medford and had resided in Lynn before moving to Peabody 20 years ago. She had been employed at the K Mart store in Danvers for 13 years Prior to her retirement last month. She enjoyed doing genealogy, playing bingo and doing puzzles and arts and Crafts. She was a devoted mother to her children and grandchildren. Surviving her besides her husband are 3 sons and a daughter-in-law, James D. And Jeremy A. Crisp and Dennis P. and Lisa Crisp all of Peabody; 3 daughters and two son- In Laws, Sharon L. And Chris Stocker and Tracey A. Crisp all of Peabody and Diane and David Ayers of Salem; two brothers and sister-in-laws, Kenneth H. and Annette Pearson of Saugus and Stanley R. and Janet Pearson of Castleton, Vt., 6 grandchildren, David and Nicole Ayers of Salem, Lucky and Mark Crisp, Amanda Economou and Robert Stocker all of Peabody and many nieces and nephews. Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 11:00 A.M. at the Conway facility at 12 Chestnut St., Peabody of the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home. Relatives and friends kindly invited.
